Not seen an electric combi but there's certainly electric central heating boilers - 2 main types I know of - Storage and Instantaneous - Storage is a massive thermal store with a fan assisted heater exchanger to put the heat in to your water - Instantaneous are physically very small with power output up to 12 Kw www.trianco.co.uk - very good for response but uses prevailing electric rate - company I do work for used one in a shop unit.

nah its too much of a hassle for both lp and oil, its a property within a property and we wanted to isolate it from the main building and have it as a stand alone.  but now we are just going to run with the existing heating arrangements!! thanks guys
