Yep, the differences in flex sizes can be difficult to tell as there so close in size, what’s more the PVC can be a different thickness on different cables, but if it's marked 0.75mm on the cable you're good to go.
Do try to keep the flex as short as is possible as this is recommended practice due to tripping hazards and possible damage to cables.
for you're own reference, flexible cables of the following sizes have the following current carrying capacity's..
0.5mm - 3A (690W)
0.75mm - 6A (1,380W)
1mm - 10A (2,300W)
1.25mm - 13A (2,990W)
But these are strictly for short lengths and only for portable appliances, Flex should not be used for doing fixed wiring in the house as it's not designed or suitable for this.
