hot water problem
May 18th, 2005, 8:01pm

I have a problem with a thermostatic shower fed from a combi boiler sometimes( not all the time) the hot water loses temperature and the shower runs cold what could be causing this problem inlet water pressure at combi ok.
Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.

might be dirt in the thermostatic body of the shower stopping the valve from running smoothly, how old is it? Wouldnt hurt to strip it down and clean it up anyhow...
you say the hot water loses temperature and the shower runs cold, does the water lose temperature at another appliance, WHB for example, or did you just mean the shower gets cold now and again...?

btk
