Importing bathroom suites

I'm building a house in the UK but I live in Belgium. Prices this site of the channel seem to be slightly cheaper but it's hard to tell as the makes are different.
I was thinking of importing some bathroom items like a washbasin and WC. Anyone aware of any problems?
I know years ago you were only allowed to install syphon type cisterns. Is that still the case? Any similar problems?

regs have changed to allow flush valves but there is a limit to how much you can flush, i think its 5 litres but dont quote me.
i would also reckon on buying your taps etc here as sizes may be different.
