hi all. I really hope you guys can help. I have recently renovated my bathroom. this involved ripping everything back to the bare bricks and starting again. Although i am very happy about the general finish i have come across a problem. when tiling the walls i decided to tile all the walls from floor to ceiling and then fit the bathroom suite. however because the property is an old one the walls are all over the place. so much so that when i position my bath against the newly tiled walls, an unsightly gap along the 2 edges forms. now this would be fine and i could easily run a bead of silicon were it not for the fact that no matter how much i adjust the bath the gap varies from about 10mm to about 30mm. does anyone know of a way around this?? any help woould be greatly appreciated, i have seen the bath seals that tyhey sell in the sheds. However i think that they look tacky and flimsy and are not really an ideal option.
Thanks in advance and I eagerly await your replies.
