Someone told me laser printers can't print on self adhesive envelopes (glue melts?) and other "exotic" media (T-Shirt transfers, mouse mats etc). If you've got kids it might be important. Just a thought.

The Konica Minolta Magicolour range is good for colour lasers. I've used a few in the past, not cheap but fast and excellent quality. I've used quite a few lexmark T520 mono lasers too, not sure if they do a colour version off the top of my head, but the mono ones worked well for budget office lasers.

Just looking for a new laser printer myself, my trusty old HP LaserJet 4+ is starting to show it's age, and the toner's running out! HP are good for smaller stuff but not sure on their larger (new) stuff nowadays. For small office\home printers and they are good vfm.
