OK for a sparky its a stupid question but...

I sit hear in our study and next door is the kitchen. Every now and then and at no fixed time and it may only happen once a night I hear the ignition fire on the gas hob.

There is no-one in the kitchen - SWMBO is watching TV in the lounge and I am here typing like there was no tommorow.

Spooks? Leakage? Crap ignitor? I am drunk or what? Any ideas?

Reply #12 - Aug 1^st, 2005, 10:12pm I have a Baumatic five-ring - sometimes it will do a similar thing if one of the knobs is stuck slightly (intermittent contact with the ignition circuit) - normally means it needs cleaning
