Undecided..update on how I have managed to join the Marley 82mm to the original 75mm Osma..
I have gone with the assumption that because it was ok to use the Osma for the soilstack originally, it must be ok to utilise it now only with a larger section.

Can anyone explain how to post photos...I have clicked the insert image icon but not very helpful...

..sorry that should have read "sealant" not grease..I assume thats OK?

No it won't last, solvent weld or gap cement is what you should have used.
