Off hand i can not tell you the age of the machine, However, as some one that has and uses a lot of KITY machinery, then provided the guides run true and the motor seems to be ok, then you should not really have any problems with it! KITY, especially as  the older models were built TO LAST!!  (i should know i have 4 of their large machines and 2 smaller ones!!) and they do take a good pounding in my workshop!!
i will try and find out the approximate age of it, but there should be a coded stamp on the makers plate somewhere upon the machine it self..
one thing of  note, and i say this to anyone that buys a bandsaw (especially ,but it applies to all machinery really) can the supplied blade for a good quality one!!
