got the ryobi 18v and the old model dewalt 18v
as you would expect the dewalt wins  95% accurate and wonders occasionaly if you push it too hard will cut as good as a mains but slighly slower as you would expect

the ryoby crabs a wee bit so you can,t use a strait edge but if you have a good eye and a steady hand its great for the money

got the ryobi 18v triple pack and the jigsaw in it does what i need it for.

depending on what you need it for it does the job for a decent price but if you want a really good 1 for finishing work i reckon you would be better with a de walt or similar

My vote for the Yellow peril, too (old model DW 18volt).  The quality of your blaade also makes a heck of a difference - I started using Lenox blades a while ago but they can be a problem to find. Festool blades seem to be less prone to wander than the standard Swiss Scintillas (as sold by everyone and their dog, rebadged)

WOW!! someone else that uses Lenox blades, and i thought i was alone...........

DW's cordless 18v is good, but don't drop it on its sole plate, LH front corners are susceptable to bending if you do so more than once.( or better stil keep the grand kids awawy from them!!!)

Yep, Wolf. But finding them is a bit of a hunt! You got a good supplier?
