Maybe SP, but thats called "toshing" it out, now to
paint a room, that is a different thing altogether!! is it not Hammey dear chap, rubbing down, filling (waiting for fillers to dry!) re-rubbing down , de-nibbing the first coats etc etc etc!!!!! ???
ive seen enough results from "
ONE COAT WONDER painters before, all to often!!!! gloss straight over existing, no prep, peels off just about the time the cheque clears!!!!
and spray painting , requires many coats, so takes about the same, can if used correctly be more of a uniformed finish!!!!!!! sprayed a workshop of mine once, Mag emulsion, what hassle, should of just rollered it!!!!!
oh and Hammey, have you used those fancy extra wide rollers the dec's use now ... one on job the other day, 2 foot wide roller for the emulsion (and tray to suit...before its said!!!) whipped over the entire wall in a few mins!!!!
