adhesive advice
Oct 20th, 2006, 3:52pm

Going to tile the bathroom this weekend (luckily a small one) and need a bit of advice:-
The tiles are 600x300x9mm and quite heavy(the kitchen scales wont weigh them Embarrassed) so what adhesive would you recommend and what size notched trowel?
I know its down to personal taste, but what way would you lay them, long side vertical, horizontal or even brick bond style?I was thinking of long side vertical but am open to those in the know what looks better.

What are you tiling onto and how even is the surface.

As for which way to fix them, if they are a stone look then brick bond can look good but I have done that sort of size both vertical & horizontal. How about diagonal herrin bone Wink
