Tiling over kilz primer
Dec 19

I would like to replace my carpet with tile on a concrete floor. However, before the carpet was placed the concrete was painted with Kilz primer due to pet odor. Can I apply thinset mortar and tile to the Kilz surface or must the Kilz be removed first?
Thank you.

Dunno, don't even know what kilz is, but your best bet may be to call the help line for whatever adhesive it is you are using. BAL is on 01782 59 1120 - they are impressively helpful; I called them on the off-chance one Sat morning & not only was someone there he answered my question straight away.
