Tiling Over Flooring

Hi just a general question and was wondering if anyone can help..I have flooring in my kitchen i think it is click flooring has tile pattern,can anyone tell me if it is possible to lay floor tiles over this rather than rip all the flooring up..

No, you will have to take it up

The laminate is likely to have been laid on some form of underlay which will make the floor too flexible to tile onto, also it is floating on the subfloor so the last thing you want is your tiles moving about.

It would not be a hard job to remove, and it will be satisfying once done Wink

For a standard sized kitchen, an hour or two tops!

What's under the existing flooring? Concrete or wood floor?
