Which Alarm bell box ?
Jul 19th, 2009, 9:35pm

I installed a wireless alarm system years ago but never bothered with a real external bell box for it (just the internal one and auto dialing).

Have now decided to fit a wired bell box with battery backup but which make to go for? Any recommendations?

Do I go for an ADT box because the company has a  great image or do I avoid them because there are so many dummy ADT boxes sold?

If you go to the www.texe.com (clever URL naming), you can see the range of texecom odyssey sounders.  There are 5 types, the 1 is the most popular, but the others are very good too - they all have the same guts really, it's the casing that is different.

I like the 4 - very smart.
