Removing PIR
Aug 15th, 2018, 5:27pm

Well not exactly removing i just dont want it to trigger a alarm as im intending on leaving a cat in the room, and i have little knowledge of these systems.

Its a menvier panel and i have the user code and nothing else, besides some installation record.  the Zone on the paperwork is end of line does that mean i cant just chuck both alarm (if thats what you call them) in a NC terminal at the detector?

All advice is at least two years out of date.

Even if it is end of line wiring, just leave everything in the same terminals but add a link across the NC contacts in the PIR.

If it's temporary perhaps you could just cover the PIR sensor with something opaque to IR. Tin foil perhaps?
