Problem is due to new goverment plans that bring Electrical work into the building regulations, you would need to have 2391 (Testing & Inspection) to be able to self certify that your work is safe etc etc, I would think you would need 16th eddition also, the certification schemes appear to want this. If you did the 2360 Part 1 and 2 & then went on to gain the 2 short courses 238\239 then you would be able to do everything that you need to do.
However funding for the 2360 Part 1 & Part 2 course is due to be axed this september, I expect there to be a few places that still run them, but it may be worth asking first as the new C&G 2330 course is due to take over, It wouldnt be any good to get half way trough the course to find out no more part 2 and you have to complete part 1 again.
