low voltage downlights
Oct 21st, 2004, 1:40pm

The wife wants lv downlights and loads of them!

Any ideas on the max load to 6a mcb.Not sure if lv loads differ from standard bulbs, ie 6a x 230v = 1380w.norm say 11 lights to one circuit.
Also with a 4 bed house there is going to be a lot needed.Any tips to how to wire them ie single transformers or a large transformer (500w).Have heard the large trannys are not electronic and can be noisey, on the other hand will need load of singles.
Can someone help any ideas welcome as i've only ever installed a couple b4!
