Anyone know if you can get (or make) splitters for S-Video??

We have installed some plasma screens in a chain of shops, and have run s-video leads from the DVD to the screen.  (just one screen per shop)

BUT, in the largest shop, they want 3 screens.

Any ideas?

you could buy the plugs and sockets from farnell or rs and build up a simple splitter hwo well it will work depends on the drive capacity of whats at the source but it may be worth a try

you will need to have a steady hand and a small bit for your soldering iron though

also you WILL want to get some small heatshrink to stop the joins shorting inside the connectors

Ah I presumed they'd want a decent piccy if they've laid out on the three screens.

Cheapo version. You can buy scart to/from Phono and SVideo converters, 3 phono & 1 svid connector switchable to perform  in/out. so you just buy a cheap scart splitter and plug the Svideo lead into the converters.

You'll find them on CPC or RS.. Have to pack up the kit for tomorrow/tuesday 2dayer so no time to browse yet.

The screens have been delivered, and have an s-video in and out.  The constructions say to link them together.
