The 'enquiry' would simply come back as 0.35 PME and 0.8 TN-S. They don't like giving complicated answers!

Yea usualy, or some other figure like 0.6, all of which actualy tells you f*ck all at the end of the day, they are all just maximum figures or suggested figures..

True - they either tell you to "Have a nice day" (piss off).
Or they give you the standard values. If so then that's acceptable on PIR's, Minor Works and EIC's. Load of old rubbish I agree but it IS acceptable.

Oooops! you guys just reminded me I've still not written my letter to the WPD guys to let them know about the 3.6ohm I found during a PIR on a PME two weeks back.

Yea, good point BAS, otherwise you cannot reference these for you're self
Although I know of a few books myself that contradict each other, but that's life, whats important is theyt may be meaning different thing's, in which case both are right
