We  are in the process of getting a new kitchen .We are thinking of getting wood worktops as they look nice but do they stay nice ie with young kids etc

Are your kids messy cooks then   Roll Eyes

Sorry nyck  Wink, in truth wood worktops need quite a bit of looking after, it is possible to keep them looking good but they mark if water is left standing on them and do need regular maintenance.

No - avoid at all cost. They need a constant amount of work to stay looking good. Similar questions have been asked on the UK Workshop thread
